The activities of Masciarelli Tenute Agricole are inextricably linked to the earth, depending on the rhythms marked by the alternation of the seasons and the delicate balance of nature. For this reason, the protection of the non-replicable ecosystem in which the company is integrated and which gives uniqueness and value to its productions is of vital importance to us. Masciarelli has responsibly decided to take an active role in the constant improvement of its environmental performance, for itself, the community in which it operates and its customers, through initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental impact: by optimizing water, electric and thermal energy consumption, and managing the various types of wastes.
Concrete commitment
to environmental sustainability
Besides being equipped with its own environmental management and protection system certified according to the ISO 14001:2015 standard, Masciarelli has also obtained the EMAS certification (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme), the tool created by the European Union that companies can voluntarily join. Thus, organizations may assess and improve their environmental performance and, at the same time, make available to the public information on their environmental management, guaranteeing maximum transparency towards consumers.
Masciarelli was the 9th Italian wine company to join EMAS. To learn more about Masciarelli best practices, the results and actions daily undertaken to be an increasingly green company please download our Environmental Statement and EMAS Certification.
