At 550 meters above sea level, Ofena is located in a piedmont area overlooked by the Gran Sasso massif, in the province of L'Aquila. The dramatic nighttime temperature range, the particular composition of the soil and the altitude result in the high quality production of this jewel of the Masciarelli portfolio: fine, elegant and deep with a vibrant body, it tells the nose the typical aromatic range of the grape, from wild red fruits to tomato leaf, spices, licorice and leather.
